Classic Chrome Recipe

I plan to create even more film simulation recipes using Classic Chrome in the coming months. Here are a few more images using the Classic Chrome film simulation while out in Vancouver.

My Fujifilm X100F Classic Chrome Film Simulation Recipe.

Classic chrome recipe. Not as much as the RAW file obviously - but enough to get the final image to where I want it. I think these Chrome Film Simulation recipes are a good starting point for me to learn how these film simulations works tweak them and find my own recipe. On my previus x100 i have been using AstiaI move from Nikon to Fuji in 2013.

As I do I will add them to. I think it is very close to the Fuji Classic Chrome. I took an existing attempt for an X-T1 and modified it to the A7iii and this is the result.

I love Classic Chrome and I have used it as the base for a bunch of different film simulation recipes. Auto up to 6400 Dynamic range. 1 Grain effect added in Lightroom in post.

It was introduced by Fujifilm beginning with the X-Trans II sensor so those who have X-Trans I cameras or older Bayer sensor cameras dont have it. The colours are subdued but very pleasing to my eye. I made over 30 iterations before getting the one that I use now.
